I had the day off today thanks to Teachers' Day, so I took the chance to go out with a friend to sell some books and keep her company at the hospital. It was a well-planned, well-executed outing—ready for anything by 8 AM—but what a shitty day. First, I was dead tired; then, at the hospital, there were no appointment slots left for her treatment; and at the bookstore—damn, you wouldn't believe the nerve of this guy. The clerk wanted to give me 25k Argentine pesos for 10 manga volumes in perfect condition. Are you kidding me? Maybe in other countries that’s "meh," but here in Argentina, a single volume of *Girls' Last Tour* costs 25k new; I was planning to sell mine—used—for 20k, maybe dropping to 17k maximum, and this asshole wanted to give me 2,500 PER BOOK? XDDD No fucking way, man; hand over your ass for life and *then* I'll think about it.
Anyway, we kept walking and I bought a beautiful pair of muted green women's trousers. My mom scolded me for it—saying "they're for women" and blah blah blah, "they won't let me dress well"—but I'm wearing them anyway; they were only 7k. I didn't even bother showing her the cape I got for 5k, hehehe... All the clothes were really cute, cheap, and unique. Here in Tucumán, everything is consumed by the "clean" aesthetic; there’s no unique clothing unless you’re a loaded old lady—rich women do have options, though it’s still "generic" stuff within that circle—which is why I buy secondhand.
Afterward, we ate some *panchukones* since I couldn't find churros, and we headed back in the rain—nice and chill, a good day overall. Then I napped and woke up to just goof around, enjoying the holiday and studying a bit before writing this at 11:11:18 PM.
